How We Operate

Paying For Your Holiday
A 10% deposit is required within the week of the provisional booking having been made. The balance of the amount due must be received six weeks prior to the date of the holiday (later in exceptional circumstances). Instructions on how to pick up the keys and directions will then be sent.

Holiday Changeover
Occupancy is from Saturday to Saturday unless other days and/or times have been agreed. Please do not arrive earlier than 3 p.m. to allow for proper preparation of your accommodation between lets. It is essential that you vacate the cottage by 10 a.m. on the day you are leaving.

Cleaning & Preparation For Your Visit
The cottage will be cleaned between lets by our caretakers but you are requested to leave it in a clean and tidy condition. The beds you require will be made up ready for you but we request you bring your own towels. If you are going to use the bed settee please bring a cover sheet / sleeping bags and pillows.

There is a £1 coin operated meter under the stairs in the kitchen.

You will notice that the prices quoted are considerably cheaper than properties of a similar standard being let through holiday cottage firms. This is because the cottage is family owned and rented mainly to friends and their friends by personal recommendation. We now have a large number of regulars who love the area and the cottage as much as we do and look after them with the same care. To keep our costs low, please replace any broken or damaged items or report problems to the caretakers before you leave. Please also replace cleaning items as they are needed.

Do spread the word if you know of anybody who would appreciate the charms of the area and a stay in our cottage. Also, we really would like to hear how you enjoyed yourselves so please fill in the guest books or send us a card.
